Excurtion to Tsomgo Lake & New Baba Mandir (Permit Required)

 

  • Tsomgo Lake (12,400 ft.): It is a glacial lake in the East Sikkim district of the Indian state of Sikkim, some 40 km from the capital Gangtok.
  •  New Baba Mandir (13,200 ft.): The Indian Army has built in honor of Capt. Harbhajan Singh. Capt Singh is remembered as the "Hero of Nathula" by soldiers of the Indian army.

Note: In case of closure of the route and the authority not issue a permit to Tsomgo Lake then we will provide alternate sightseeing.

Day 03
Gangtok Half Day City Tour – Darjeeling

Morning Sightseeing:

• Flower Exhibition Centre: Showcases flowers from the different parts of Sikkim together under a single roof.

• Cottage Industry and Handicraft Centre: This is a Government training centre for handloom and handicrafts, and there is an Emporium to sell these.

• Namgyal Institute of Tibetology: This is a Tibet museum in Gangtok, Sikkim, India, named after the 11th Chogyal of Sikkim, Sir Tashi Namgyal.

• Do-Drul Chorten: Stupa in Gangtok. Trulshik Rinpoche, head of the Nyingma order of Tibetan Buddhism built this stupa in 1945. In this stupa is a complete set of Dorjee Phurba, Kangyur (Holy Books) and other religious objects.

• Enchey Monastery: The Monastery, was established in 1909 above Gangtok, the capital city of Sikkim in the Northeastern Indian state.

• Bagthang Water Falls: Small Waterfall.

Afternoon Transfer: Transfer to Darjeeling.

Darjeeling City Tour

Early Morning (04:00 am) Sightseeing:

• Tiger Hill (8,400 ft.): Tiger Hill has a mesmerizing view of Mount Everest and Mount Kanchenjunga together.

• Ghoom Monastery: Yiga Choeling is also known as Ghoom Monastery. Yellow Hat Sect is the disciple of this ministry. Ghoom is famous for a very high statue of Maitreya Buddha.

• Batasia Loop: The Batasia Loop was created to lower the gradient of ascent of the Darjeeling Himalayan Railway in Darjeeling. At Batasia, the track spirals around through a tunnel and a hilltop. It was commissioned in 1919 and is still working.

After Breakfast Sightseeing:

• Himalayan Mountaineering Institute: On 4th November 1954 to encourage Mountaineering among locals, the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (HMI Darjeeling) was formed in Darjeeling,

• P. N. Zoological Park (Thursday closed): Padmaja Naidu Himalayan Zoological Park is one of the most prominent zoos in West Bengal.

• Tenzing Rock: HMI Rock conducts basic climbing training classes here.

• Tibetan Refugee Self-help Centre (Sunday closed): It is a rehabilitation center for Tibetan refugees in the Darjeeling Himalayan hill region.

• Tea Garden (Outer view): You can enjoy the view of Happy Valley Tea Estate.

• Ropeway (19th every month close): This Cable car is also known as Rangeet Valley Passenger Cable Car. You can see the mesmerizing view of the valley around the river Little Rangeet. You must board the cable car from Singamari which is 3 km (i.e. 1.8 miles) away from Darjeeling Chowk Bazaar.

• Japanese Temple: This temple sports a traditional Japanese style architectural design. The Japanese Temple & Peace Pagoda is a 10-minute drive from the heart of Darjeeling town.

  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.
  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).
  • 50% advance to be paid at the time of booking (We will start booking process after the receipt of the initial payment, until then we are not holding anything & cannot guarantee the availability of the proposed services)
  • Airfare quoted at the time of package creation is subject to change at the time of booking depending on fare fluctuations.
  • We need minimum 72 working hours to reply back on your booking confirmation, if we fail to give you the proposed services then we will provide you similar options or we will refund your received amount.
  • Passport copies of all Guests (front page, address page or any observation page if any) needs to be provided at the time of booking along with the initial payment, if you do not provide the same the booking process will be delayed.
  • Any verbal conversations regarding the Trip/Package will be considered null & void. Only written communications over mail or whatsapp will be accepted.
  • As per the new RBI guidelines, PANCARD IS MANDATORY for every Booking & Travel.
  • 100% payment to be made for Domestic packages 10 days prior to departure date.
  • 100% payment to be made for International packages 15 days prior to departure date.

  • Travel vouchers will be provided within 3 working days of receipt of Final Payment.
  • Travel Itinerary provided at the time of booking is Tentative and final itinerary will be shared on arrival at your destination as it all depends on the final discretion of our local counterpart at that particular destination.

All cancellation and date change of Air tickets is based on the airline policy and will be shared at the time of the requirement.
