Day 01
ARRIVAL MADURAI + CITY TOUR

  • Arrive in Madurai and check into your hotel.
  • Later we will go for Madurai city sightseeing , including Meenakshi Temple, Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace

Visit the famous Meenakshi Amman Temple and marvel at the intricate carvings and colorful architecture. The Meenakshi Temple complex is literally a city – one of the largest of its kind in India and undoubtedly one of the oldest too. The temple grew with the contribution of each dynasty and victorious monarchs, into an enormous complex extending over an area of 65000 Sq m.

Explore the Thirumalai Nayakkar Palace, an impressive 17th-century palace with beautiful gardens and stunning architecture. It was built by King Thirumalai Nayak in 1636. It's a fusion of Dravidian and Rajput architectural styles, considered a marvel of southern architecture. The palace originally consisted of two main sections, Swargavilasa and Rangavilasa, and was significantly larger than its current size. For the history lovers and those with a taste for the rich culture, this place leaves them in awe. The light and sound shows held in the evening make for a doubly alluring experience.

The Ramanathaswamy Temple, also known as the Ramnathaswamy Temple, is a Hindu temple in Rameshwaram, Tamil Nadu, India, dedicated to Lord Shiva. It's a significant pilgrimage site for Shaivites, Vaishnavites, and Smartas, and is one of the 12 Jyotirlinga temples. The temple is believed to be where Lord Rama established a lingam to atone for killing Ravana, a Brahmin, according to some sources.

Day 03
DHANUSHKODI (RAMESWARAM)

After Breakfast, proceed for a sightseeing tour to Dhanuskodi and Arichal Munai Lighthouse . 

Dhanushkodi, a serene coastal town in Rameshwaram, is steeped in history and natural beauty. Located at the southeastern tip of Pamban Island, this picturesque destination is famous for its pristine beaches, azure waters, and the mythological significance associated with the Ramayana. Legend has it that Lord Rama built a bridge, known as Rama Setu, from Dhanushkodi to Lanka to rescue his wife, Sita. Dhanushkodi is an ideal destination for nature lovers and history buffs alike. The town's serene atmosphere and breathtaking views make it a perfect spot for relaxation and photography. Visitors can also explore the ruins of the old town, which was destroyed by the 1964 cyclone.

Arichal Munai Lighthouse, also known as Dhanushkodi Lighthouse, is located on the southernmost tip of Rameswaram Island in Tamil Nadu, India, marking the end of the country's road network. It is a prominent landmark at the point where the Bay of Bengal and the Indian Ocean meet, a location also known as Arichal Munai. The lighthouse was built in the 19th century by the British. It has a light range of 15 nautical miles and is powered by 5KW solar power with a backup generator, reflecting the government's green energy initiative.

RAMESWARAM - KANYAKUMARI (SUNSET POINT)

Today, after breakfast, we will check out and proceed to Kanyakumari , the Southernmost tip of India , where seas merge and cultures converge ! 

Check in at the hotel and relax.

By evening we will proceed to Sunset Point , which is a popular vantage point located in the southernmost tip of India, offering breathtaking views of the sun setting over the confluence of the Arabian Sea, the Bay of Bengal, and the Indian Ocean. Known for its mesmerizing sunsets, the point attracts tourists and locals alike, who gather to witness the spectacular display of colors in the sky. A visit to Sunset Point Kanyakumari promises a visual treat, as the sun sets in the horizon, casting a magical spell over the confluence of the three water bodies. The changing hues of the sky create a picturesque setting perfect for photography and leisurely walks along the coast. The point also offers views of the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue, adding to the charm of the experience.

KANYAKUMARI - KOVALAM

Afterbreakfast , check out of the hotel .

We will first visit some of the prime sightseeings of Kanyakumari like The Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Thiruvalluvar Statue, and The Suchindram Temple.

The Vivekananda Rock Memorial is a monument and tourist attraction in Kanyakumari, located on a rock about 500 meters off the mainland, where the Bay of Bengal, the Indian Ocean, and the Arabian Sea meet. It stands in honor of Swami Vivekananda, who is believed to have attained enlightenment on the rock.As its name implies, it is essentially a sacred monument, built by the Vivekananda Rock Memorial Committee to commemorate the visit of Swamy Vivekananda to “Shripada Parai” during 24th, 25th and 26th December 1892 for deep meditation and enlightenment.

The Saint Thiruvalluvar Statue, is a colossal stone sculpture of the renowned Tamil poet and philosopher, Thiruvalluvar, author of the Thirukkural. The statue is 95 feet tall (29 meters) and stands atop a 38-foot (12 meters) pedestal, bringing the total height to 133 feet (40.6 meters). This landmark is a popular tourist destination, particularly for its symbolic representation of Thiruvalluvar's teachings and the Thirukkural's 133 chapters. 

The Suchindram Temple, also known as the Thanumalayan Temple, is a significant Hindu temple ,which is dedicated to the Hindu Trinity (Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva), and is particularly known for its unique architectural style and rich history.  It is one among the 108 Siva temples revered by Hindus in Kerala.  The temple complex is spread across 2 acres and has two towers called 'Gopurams' that are gateways.About 30 shrines to various deities within the temple complex, the large Lingam in the sanctum, the idol of Vishnu in the adjacent shrine and a large idol of Hanuman at the Eastern end of the Northern corridor represent almost all the deities of the Hindu pantheon.

  • Cost incidental to any change in the itinerary/stay on account of flight cancellation due to bad weather, ill health, and roadblocks and/or any factors beyond control.
  • Airfare if not mentioned in the itinerary
  • Seats and Meals are not included in airfare
  • Travel Insurance if not mentioned in the itinerary (Highly recommended by I Need Trip)
  • In case client wishes to prepone /postpone his or her travel dates, we request you to kindly reach us 15 days prior to journey date via e-mail/SMS.
  • The customers can prepone /postpone their tour once without any additional charges (if intimated before 15 days of travel date in written). However postponing & preponing second time will attract additional charges.
  • Also note that few service providers (Hoteliers, Transporter etc.) may apply postpone/prepone charges even after meeting above requirement. In such cases postpone/prepone charges will deducted from the advance amount deposited.
  • In all prepone or postpone scenarios, the services and the costing will be subject to availability of Hotel/Volvo and season/off season time.
  • We do not accept any changes in plan within 15 days of travel date. However in rare cases like adverse climatic conditions or strikes, package can be postponed which will be intimated to you beforehand.
  • The validity to utilize your Advance payment in prepone/postpone scenarios is 1 Year from the date of advance payment.
  • The advance payment and the invoice Number allotted to you, are transferable i.e. you can pass on your booking to any of your friends/ relatives. (Please Note: In order to transfer your booking you must meet the above terms and conditions first).

  • No refund will be made for any unused accommodation, missed meals, transportation segments, sightseeing tours or any other service. Such unused items are neither refundable nor exchangeable.

  •  Room allocation is done by the hotel depending upon availability at the time of check-in in the category of room as specified on your confirmation voucher.

  •  No refund shall be claimed, if the services & amenities of hotel were not up to your expectations, it will be considered on case to case basis Confirmation policy.

  • The Above package can be booked by paying token amount which is 50% of the total amount for booking & 50% must need to pay 7 days prior to arrival. 

  • 50% advance to be paid at the time of booking (We will start booking process after the receipt of the initial payment, until then we are not holding anything & cannot guarantee the availability of the proposed services)
  • Airfare quoted at the time of package creation is subject to change at the time of booking depending on fare fluctuations.
  • We need minimum 72 working hours to reply back on your booking confirmation, if we fail to give you the proposed services then we will provide you similar options or we will refund your received amount.
  • Passport copies of all Guests (front page, address page or any observation page if any) needs to be provided at the time of booking along with the initial payment, if you do not provide the same the booking process will be delayed.
  • Any verbal conversations regarding the Trip/Package will be considered null & void. Only written communications over mail or whatsapp will be accepted.
  • As per the new RBI guidelines, PANCARD IS MANDATORY for every Booking & Travel.
  • 100% payment to be made for Domestic packages 10 days prior to departure date.
  • 100% payment to be made for International packages 15 days prior to departure date.
